Five steps. One fundamental shift.
Every step on Candor is designed around one principle — the professional comes first. Your time is respected. Your privacy is protected. Your engagement is rewarded. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you join to the moment you accept an offer.
Build a profile based on your work. Not your CV.
Forget the CV. On Candor your profile is built around evidence — what you have actually done, the outcomes you have driven, and the skills you can demonstrate. You add the roles you have held, the problems you have solved, and the verifiable proof behind them.
You set your own terms up front. Your salary floor. The types of roles you want to hear about. The companies you want to avoid. The stage of career you are at. If a company cannot meet your floor, they cannot pitch you.
Takes around 10 minutes to complete. Most profiles pull in cleanly from existing portfolios, GitHub, or case study work.
Anonymous by default. Your name and current employer are hidden until you choose to reveal them to a specific company.
Verified skills carry weight. You can demonstrate skills through real tasks reviewed by practising experts. Those badges appear on your profile permanently.
Real salary. Real role. Real human. On the first message.
Every pitch that hits your inbox must include the real salary. Not a range. Not "competitive." The number the company is willing to pay. If the salary is not on the pitch, the pitch does not exist. We enforce this structurally — companies cannot send a pitch without filling in the salary field.
Companies pay £50 per employment pitch. £35 per freelance pitch. They pay to earn the right to your attention. That means the pitches that arrive are genuine, researched, and considered — not mass-blast messages from recruiters who have not read your profile.
Salary visible from the first message. No more guessing games. No more "let us discuss compensation." The number is right there.
Hiring manager named. The real person you will work with — not a recruiter, not a bot, not a noreply inbox.
Culture data attached. Verified reviews, interview process, team structure, working style. You know what you are walking into before you accept.
You get paid just to read the pitch. £2.70 lands in your Candor wallet 48 hours after you open it. Your time is not free — and Candor is the first platform to treat it that way.
Accept, decline, or ignore. Every option earns you something.
This is the moment the entire system is designed around. You hold the power. Not the recruiter. Not the hiring manager. Not the algorithm. You decide whether this company deserves your time.
If you decline — you are invited to give structured feedback. Why the salary missed the mark. Why the role was wrong. Why the culture raised flags. That feedback goes directly to the company and contributes to their platform score. You earn £7.10 for giving it. The company learns something. The platform gets better. Everyone wins.
Every action is rewarded.
Unlike every other platform in existence, Candor pays you for engaging honestly with the process. No exceptions.
Companies that ghost lose their access. If a company fails to respond within 7 days after you accept a pitch, they are flagged. Repeat offenders are permanently removed from the platform.
Interview on your terms. Still anonymous if you want.
When you accept a pitch, the conversation opens up — but only on your terms. You decide when to reveal your name. When to share your current employer. When to schedule a call. You can interview through Candor under a pseudonym if you want to keep things quiet until you are ready.
Every interview stage is tracked. Every communication is timestamped. If a company drops off, you know. If the process drags, you know. Accountability is built into the product — not into the small print.
Company response times published. How quickly this company typically replies. How long their interview process takes on average. No surprises.
Your boss will never know you are here. Profile visibility is controlled by you. Specific companies and domains can be permanently blocked from seeing you.
Accept the offer. Earn the payment. Review the company.
When you accept an offer, £30 lands in your Candor wallet after a 30-day employment verification. Both you and the company confirm the hire. The payment releases automatically.
Then you do the thing that changes the industry forever — you leave a verified review. Salary accuracy. Communication quality. Interview fairness. Culture match. That review is published. It cannot be deleted. It feeds the quarterly Transparency Report. Future candidates see it before they accept pitches from this company.
Reviews are verified and permanent. Unlike other platforms, companies cannot buy, flag, or suppress candidate reviews on Candor.
Wallet withdrawals any time above £50. Bank transfer via Stripe Connect. Same day or next business day.
You stay on the platform. Most people do not leave Candor after getting a job. The community, the office hours, the sponsored problems — there is always reason to stay.
Every other platform vs Candor.
The word recruitment has been used for so long to describe a broken process that most professionals have stopped questioning it. Candor questions it at every single step.

Candor
What people usually ask.
Is Candor free? Yes. The core platform is free for candidates forever. You earn from using it. You only pay if you want Candor Pro features or the Expert tier. Companies pay to access you.
What if no companies pitch me? You can be as passive or active as you want. Many professionals use Candor quietly, receiving a few pitches a month, and only engage when something interesting lands. Others are active in community rooms, earning from expert contributions and building reputation scores.
Can I still apply to jobs like I used to? You can — but Candor is not built for that. The platform is structured around companies coming to you. If you want to apply to jobs directly, The Giant is still the place for that. Candor is for when you are done with that model.
What happens if I get a pitch from my current employer? It is blocked automatically. We cross-check company domains before any pitch is sent. You can also add specific companies to a permanent block list.
Do recruitment agencies use Candor? Only verified internal recruiters at named companies can send pitches. Third-party agencies, headhunters, and recruitment firms cannot pitch on Candor. Every pitch comes from the company doing the hiring.
